OUR HISTORY
VETERANS OF HAWAII began in 1990 as Old Soldiers of Hawaii, an organization dedicated to providing our Veterans with the opportunity to gather and enjoy friendships new and old with other Hawaiian veterans. In 2020, Old Soldiers of Hawaii changed their name to Veterans of Hawaii to include Veterans who served and live in Hawaii from all branches of our United Sates Military Service: Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, and the Hawaii National Guard (Army and Air) and all Reserve Components.

Our yearly reunions are full of camaraderie and music, memorials and talking stories. Our gatherings are based in gratitude and appreciation for the unwavering service of our veterans to our country. To honor our members, Veterans of Hawaii plans to expand our reach to join with other charitable organizations to be of service to Veterans and others who may be in need In our communities. We welcome all veterans who served in Hawaii and those from Hawaii who served elsewhere to join us in our celebrations, remembrances and mission.
